Health and fitness tips by Navtej Kohli.
‘Health is Wealth’ isn’t a passing phrase. We all want to live a disease free healthy life. A healthy body helps us achieve a high quality of life. Fitness makes us want to live it everyday. If you think the same way like Mr. Navtej Kohli does, read on…
Below enlisted are some basic health tips to practice daily:
1. Move your body
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs, Walk your dog, chase your kids, toss balls with friends or mow the lawn. It not only keeps you fit but busts your stress too.
2. Avoid fatty food
Fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats are a strict no-no. Eat low fat versions of dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream. Take limited amount of nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces.
3. Quit Smoking
I think this needs no explanations. ‘Smoking Kills’
4. Take it easy
Think positive thoughts. Pamper yourself with a aroma bath or get a massage, a facial or a haircut, take a walk on the beach or in a park, read some good books, spend time with friends, play with your dog, listen to music, watch a comedy flick. Meditate. Be with positive people and exert self control.
5. Protect Yourself from Pollution
Avoid smoke-filled areas, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard.
8. Don’t drink too much
studies revealed that a glass of wine or one drink a day can help protect against heart disease, but excessive drinking can lead to other health problems such as liver and kidney disease and cancer.

What you said is very true. But I don’t think one can protect himself from pollution. It’s all in the air and you have to breathe it.
