Ornithology:
Besides Medicine, I am passionate about ornithology or watching birds. A bird is a two-legged, bipedal vertebrate, distinguished from other living vertebrates by feathers. Ornithology is the scientific study of birds. Though my hectic schedule doesn’t allow me much time to pursue this great science but whenever I can manage, you can find me in the company of our two-legged friends.
Sports:
I am a sports freak. I was a good soccer player in my younger days. Besides playing soccer, I love playing cricket and table tennis though I am not very good at either of them. If my schedule permits, I religiously follow cricket and soccer matches.
Reading:
In my spare time, I love picking up an old book that brings back memories of the past. I strongly believe that reading helps in thorough development of children and youngsters should always be encouraged to read.

Numismatics:

Numismatics is the scientific study of currency and its history in all its varied forms. Coin collection has existed since ancient times - it is known that Roman Emperors were among some of the earliest coin collectors. It has been one of my favourite hobbies since chilhood specially because one of my uncles used to
work in a mint which is a plant where money is coined by authority of the government. I still have a huge collection of coins of various countries.
My favourite book on numismatics is "Lectures on Ancient Indian Numismatics" by D.R. Bhandarkar. I still enjoy reading it.
